Description

ive been playing around with textures on this guy, the skin was done using a mix of about 5 procedural textures and 3 hand painted ones for veins/lips etc. because ive converted the textures from 3d to 2d (for animation) there are a couple of annoying stretched areas that i`ll fix later. i doubt i`ll make a body as ive had a funny idea for an animation involving severed orc heads on spikes having daft conversations. comments welcome..

Laughing already...sounds like a wonderful idea about the talking heads.. If you complete your plans let me know, I would love to see it.The modelling and texturing is fantastic by the way...

Again, very impressive work, love the textures and whatever you're using for the skin shader!

The concept's brilliant, and you're obviously fantastic at modelling. I'm new to all this, so my comments aren't informed by experience or anything, but the texture looks kinda translucent and waxy. I don't know whether it's because of the way the light's hitting the model? Of course, it could be the way you'd intended it to look, in which case I'll just shut up now ... :) As I said, I'm not experienced in these things yet, but I'm certainly well impressed by what you've done here. Good luck with the project!

looks great. What's really funny is that it looks like my 11th grade english Teacher, except she had a hunchback. Boy she was mean.

The guts hanging down from the neck is a disgustingly nice touch. I dig it.

I have got to see those conversations when they come!!! This guy seems to be sweating a lot... I wonder what he will look like with his head on a spike... :)

Great! I love this agree with above on the veins hanging from neck. Disagree with the comment about the waxy look yes a little, but most movies have this look to them to if using this genre. Agree I would Love to see these guys when you get to the convos.... KEEP IT UP!!!

Fantastic.. awsome work on the textures. Does he have a nose ring? Perhaps you should make the metal rings a lighter color metal like silver or something like that so they stand out more .. it's beautiful though
