Description
Everything in this image was modeled and textured 100% in Bryce. The sextant model was referenced from the Noble Collection, which can be viewed here: http://www.noblecollection.com/catalog/
The original Noble Classic Sextant depicted mermen holding up the base of the sextant, I decided to use seahorses in their place. A seahorse grayscale bitmap terrain was created using Photoshop and imported into Bryce as a lattice. Minor Post work was done using Photoshop.

Wow, brilliant modelling.

Excellent modeling of a real world object, yet the "seahorse substitution" seems very appropriate and makes this design uniquely your own.

The larger image is richer in details. The longer I look. . .the more detail I can see. Excellent composition and illumination also.
