Description

I look at this and I see 2 things. First, my own interpretation of Whistlers Mother. Secondly, the childrens story Rumplestilskin comes to mind. The girl spinning flax..in this case, lights. Yeah you have to squeeze your brain a bit to think on it. But it works :) Original photograph, myself as model. Postwork was in color balance only. Thank you! Inkraven

Yeah. You really have to squish your mind for the first one. :)

Coupla generations too young for Whistler's Mother, but it's the pose, I know. What's happening with the little pink bubble things, are those natural lens flares from the bright lights? The stray strands of hair are a nice touch :-)

Don't know this whistler (even if being old enough?) but we do have this rumpelstilzchen over here too. But as he ain't no nice guy, i can't squish my mind enough to find him here? Just this contemplative woman and those light. Very creative series of great pictures :)

Raven (without ink) before you squish your head to mush :) The Rumpelstikskin reference is to the princess in the story, who has to spin the flax. :) NOt the troll himself.

The sense of silence is in all these shots... but the light are speaking :) Strange.. it's like a sad but warm mood.. Beautiful..
