Description

This started out just as a modeling excercise by my collegue, phurst, but we liked the way it turned out so I decided to do some lighting and texturing experiments on it. It's still work in progress but we'd love to hear your comments. Modeled and rendered in R8. Lit with blue-ish Environment and yellow-ish parrallel spot. Most textures are our own. More in this series to follow. Nice pad you have. Great render, maybe slightly to neat (rough up the textures a little)but good job all the same.

You're absolutely right about the textures. That's the one element of the 'work in progress'.

Thanks all! It's partly deleberate to keep it "neat" because we try to show in our work and at our site that history was once new and that's what the gatehouse is suppose to be. But I take the point and will post the finished article soon. Ta, Mak.

Looks terrific! The POV you selected here really gives you a very interesting and dramatic view of this set. Very nicely done.
