BIOI was born in the 1950's in Tennessee, and have been here ever since. I like the blues, rock and roll, and a little bit of everything else; I also play guitar (badly). I have worked in about every medium there is, but almost stopped all traditional work when I discovered computer art. In 1986 (can't believe it was that long ago), I bought an Amiga 500 (remember them?). I used a paint program called Deluxe Paint and the first 3D program I used was called Silver- upgraded to Turbo Silver (no, really!) and the program eventually became Imagine. I switched over to the IBM PC compatable in 1995, because the capabilities finally eclipsed those of the Amiga. I now use Bryce, Poser and Photoshop Elements. In art, as in music, I like a little of everything, so I usually surf All Galleries. I recommend this to everyone, because if you limit your vision to only Poser gallery, only Bryce, etc., you may find that you are repeating yourself in your art. Shake it up, and render on!

MEDIC!! MEDIC!!! there is a soldier down!!! That said, great pic, did you model the plastic soldiers? and thanks for the memories you brought me back with those plastic soldiers.
tjohn
They are Poser objects, but I did create the poses. :^) I made the "pedestals" from terrains.

Lol, this brings back memories tjohn! I remember building "forts" just like this as a kid! Excellent render, but don't your Poser soldiers look more than a little plastic?(joking!)

Once again, major chuckles ensue. Remember? - They always had that mold-line running down the middle of their little faces. You had big Japanese O-scale ones, and then later I got a whole brigade of German HO-scale (or even N-scale) minis with the superior tanks and armor. The green ones burned really well, and melted into long zizzing drips. Your pedestals really complete the illusion!

What a great render. I like the floor. Nice subtle reflection and fantastic lighting. Memories of toy soldiers too. Although I used to bite their heads off. Don't ask why, I was a troubled kid. (Not much has changed)

Haha, cool work tjohn! But why do the soldiers have business suits on them? :)

Fantastic tjohn! Your little soldiers and domino's are great, in fact they look like they could be picked up and played with. 8)

Those are some mighty well dressed soldiers bud. I love this pic. I melted down quite a few toy soldiers in my time.

Great image. Too bad Poser doesn't have some military outfits. Your soldiers are messing up their Armani's.

Only thing missing is you need to have one crawling with a gun. Every set of soldiers I've ever seen has some in it.

Great work on the posing. The floor looks excellent. Nicely done.

The Soldier in the center with his arms wide open is singing a show tune right? Don't ask, don't tell, Right! Bloody H@ll....
