Description

This image looks much better against a dark background, hence the black border I've put around the image. It was created in UF3, with some sharpening in Photoshop. Thanks for your comments on "Beautiful Decay". Comments and criticism welcome on this image too.

Flotsam and jetsam! Superb, Simon. The depth, the balance, the subtle use of dull blue and dull gold. You have such a dominant triangular shape on the left that I keep expecting it to take over the picture -- but it doesn't; it's kept counterbalanced by the "branches" leading away and the swing of the various small blips and blobs.

Excellent peice indeed! It seems to balance minimalism,complexity & chaos - all at the same time. The blue sheen is a great touch.

These night creatures are certainly on a mission of some kind - this reminds me of one of those rare glimpses into the exotic jungle nights that nature photographers can only dream of. Wonderful!
