My name is Matthew Yetter.
I'm an optician turned Vietnamese linguist turned cell phone salesman turned casino worker turned website developer and 3D animator. And then I have a few really wild plans for beyond that... As for art, it's a funny thing but I can't paint or draw in two dimensions worth a damn. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In a completely unexpected twist, I now work for Pixologic, the makers of ZBrush.

The look on his face isn't quite angry and scary enough. It looks like he's polite and laughing at me...

The thing to remember here is that the final characters are going to be under 2,500 polygons. They are also going to be much smaller in size on the screen. As a result, any detail beyond what was created here will be lost in the final game. In fact, some of what is here already will be lost. This image is to show the 3D modelers how to build the game models, not to be the final product. As for him being scary or not, you also have to remember that this is a character race. He's not an enemy; he's an ally. (Although there are some pretty wicked character races still in creation! grin

I like this a lot - very interesting - very unusual horns - lots of interesting characteristics - I like getting to see all the views.

wow, this is outstanding, not many can model a whole creature in zbrush, most work with just one view whereas you have worked on him evidentally from all angels, wonderful display of the 3d capabilities of the program! I can hardly wait to see more of these character races to come :)

I would hate to run into this guy in a dark alley. Nice work!
