Description
This is kind of a shot at an alien landscape. I think it looks simpler than it really was to create it. There are a lot of subtle color variations over a large scale. I tried to give the impression of undisturbed frozen methane water surface. I don't know if that would be the actual color of frozen methane, but hey, this is my little planet. Make your own. :D

Cool work. Needs a little more contrast maybe. Only because the crater seems a little washed compared to the mountains and sky. Try to render at a higher resolution and then reduce the size. Most times that results in a much more detailed rendering, and you keep more details when you reduce the size for internet viewing. Good Luck.
