Description

created this image using Brazil R/S, took 6 hours to render. background is "recomped in Photoshop" because the version I used in MAX for skylight was to sharp. hope you all like the image! see yah! Rain

outstanding render, and i really appreciate the originality with your character design. he's not one for the " total extermination of the universe",big bulky and comic hero type dude. just a like a typical american kid. great job.

very cool. I like how the background is blured. How did you blur the background in Photoshop but not the character? anyways i like it. can you animate it as well?

really simple trogboy, I could ave used Depth Of Field(DOF) but it would require to make some 3d stuff in the bakground and it would render way to long! but since I renderd it in Brazil with skylight, I got a 100% grey background, then I went into photoshop cut out the character, and put the background behind him, afterthat I started gently blurring the image until it looked good to me! I usualy do that sort of thing in After Effects, but this worked nicely!__And I designed the character for animation, the way its created is with animation in mind! greets! Roderick

I like. I appreciate the simplicity but a little more detail on the nose and mouth would be beneficial.
