Description
Converting the image from vector to bitma and scaling it to fit the web, does not do the detail in this image justice. The original is 25 inches by 36 inches.
This is NOT the normal kind of image for me. It is too "pretty". I did this one as a gift for my mother's birthday. She's a bigh hummingbird and iris freak. I started this as a 3D file, then got distracted doing other vector illustrations, portraits, etc. and then this. I've included a couple of small insets in the bottom left corner of the illustration, so you can get some idea of the detail in Adobe Illustrator.

Thanks, Pewter, jocko and Angelica. My mom liked the colors as well. Thanks, Artzy. ddajs, it did take a ton of work, but it was very enjoyable work. I don't know if I'll do it again anytime soon though. Hope to see your stuff posted soon.
