Here is now the last picture of my chess serie. I still have some problems with the shadows, because in the proximity of the chessboard black points form. Doesn't know from where these points come, but it can't be the shadow of a figure. Hope someone can help me out ... good to know for next projects. All comments are very welcome. Thanx for viewing.

Don't have problems with your shadows, this is quite well done, really. Sometimes we tend to try to over-anlayze our work inour strive for realism... let this be; you've done very well, ehre... ;)

I know very little about this, but if i may say this: The modeling seems fine - very good - the lighting is what strikes one as false to begin with. Then, the texturing - maybe more adventure, more abstraction here. Maybe that would make the lighting easier - if you know what i mean?
