Description

This image began as a sketch and was intended to remain a sketch, but it ran away from me, insisting on going the whole nine yards. Thus, here it is. Hope you enjoy it. :) Only 3-4 hours and essentially three layers (used more'n three, but it boils down to three): sketch, background color, duca color. Paint Shop Pro and Deep Paint. Several sketches and details about the duca are available in the 2D Graphics forum thread linked here. I'm planning another duca image to be done before the end of the year for the December Theme: Fantastic Creatures.

A Giraphorse? That's what it looks like. Pretty neat colors and pose. The shading of the legs is done really well.
