Nice convincing feeling about this. Looks like you have a bit of the same problem I sometimes get when , say, trim intersects the walls. There is a little sampling shadowing along the door trims. I can usually take care of it with either more stoch samples or, if radiosity, then increase the min/max resolution on the radiosity page.

Very well made and lit. Like Archrendr says, there's a few artefacts knocking about on the doors.

Well done! 19 minutes sounds a bit short for a good render with radiosity turned on. The artifacts could be removed either with some postwork or simply render this one again with higher accuracy in radiosity.

I suggest a minimum accuracy of 70%, depth of 4, and give it more rays to calculate! So around 400 will be good! Cinema produces very much radiosity artifacts when used accuracy below 60%. You can see artifacts near all edges. Especially in such architectural scenes it could be better and faster to render with stochastic radiosity. It produces some gain in the image but the outcoming render looks much more natural than those ultra-clean studies...

All great comments above. Radiosity renderings can take forever, and we always strive to minimize the time, and, well, artifacts are gonna be a reality for a long time to come when we cut it close. Very nice image, and great mood. If you are striving for a portfolio piece, then, go for the gold, change your renders settings, and increase the rendering size.. you'll have a masterpiece!

This piece could use a bit of tightening up. But i don't feel informed enough to say where. What i do know is: this has a good 'mood'. You can't buy that! Work on this piece, build the whole house if necessary. Good Work.

Great work, love the flat lighiting the colors and the mood they set...A few things though :), the hanging lamp seem unrealistically low, and the door hadles too high.. But overall great work :)
