Description
This is our new addition to our Family.. Her name is Jasmine(she's a Sheperd/mix), she is pictured here with her big brother George...
We adopted her yesterday from the recsue shelter we adopted George from... Jasmine is the sweetest thing and I know she'll be very happy here with us...
P.S. Jasmine is just 5 months old and she was left in the metro parks to die...Thank god someone found her and took her to the rescue shelter...
~The Meaning Of Rescue~
Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked in my warm new bed.
I'd like to open my baggage
Lest I forget,
There is so much to carry-
So much to regret.
Hmm . . . Yes there it is, right on the top.
Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss;
And there by my bed hide Fear and Shame.
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave;
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.
I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
but I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me.
Will you add to my baggage?
Will you help me unpack?
Or will you just look at my things-
and take me right back?
Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage,
and never repack?
I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage-
Will you still want me?

all of my pets are rescues....only way to go if you want a pet, in my view.... those are beautiful pets you now are blessed with! they are worth the extra effort....

Wonderful Clara! This is such a fantastic thing you are doing by taking the pets from the shelter home with you. How can people be mean to cats and dogs? I just do not understand it..or any animal for that matter. They are gifts from the Creator.

I don't know Clara,kinda looks like George is chewin on her face here doesn't it lol...know he's not but it could be seen that way!So glad to see someone's taking in these poor unwanted souls...so much misery seems to be out there this year,at least you've provided a shining light of hope;)
