BWA HA HA!!! "Ask and ye shall receive..." Thanks, TMA1!

(For those of you who don't know, TMA-1 stands for Tycho Magnetic Anomoly One. It's from Arthur C. Clark's book "2001," where it--the magnetic anomoly in the crater Tycho on Earth's moon--was the first indication of the monolith buried there by an advanced civilization, as an Easter egg for Humankind to find should they become technologically advanced enough to do so.

That civilization had trained monkeys and other intelligent life forms on Earth, millions of years before, with monolith-envoys as so strikingly depicted in the beginning of the film 2001.

None of this can be known from the film. You have to read the book--which Doc Mojo highly recommends.) :-)
