Nice work. You may try to sharpen your pic a bit after rendering and I prfer a smaller size. Try something like 1024*768 ;-) The clouds are looking really good.

Only your second! Well you've conjured up a nice terrain and point of view here - the sky and lighting are great too. Waswat is right - always render at the highest detail - try adding more layers to your surface too. You seem to have a good eye for colour, so you're well on your way!

The terrain is splendid. I don't care for the clouds. You have done excellently for a second picture, more than excellently.
