Description

My tribute to the Disney classic version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, featuring iw43d's most excellent version of the Nautilus. I've been sitting on this model for a long time, waiting to get a rendering out, and this is my first opportunity. Haven't even touched the beautiful interiors yet! Comments are always welcome!

There needs to be more effect of reflected light from the water, and the lighting on the wheelhouse window is too high key and geometric. The boat doesn't match well into the environment because of too great a drop-off in detail and contrast in the background, or not enough reduction on the boat. Integretating the water's reflection will also help with the blending-in. Can you post a version w/o the faces? I might appreciate it more if I were a fan of those shown, but if I wanted to see any faces at all, they would be and James Mason and Douglas.

That is a really cool model of the Nautilus. Could you let me know where you got it? I'd love to do something with it. Thanks!
