Description

"vella rel i fresca saba" Today is the birthday of my grandmother and we have celebrated it with a lunch in her house. Four generations around the same table. Our conversations have been diverse, but specially on our family. At home I've taken this photo with the watch of the father of my grandmother on a drawing of my youngest daughter who has done it for Christmas. I have combined the ancient thing with the most recent thing and to increase the contrast between epochs I've used the warm artificial light that illuminates the clock with the fresh natural light that illuminates the drawing. As the Catalan poet said:

A fabulous idea to place a greenish background behind the copper tones. The crop is just fine, the composition well-balanced. The colour scheme makes it a very interesting work!

That is an absolutely beautiful photo! The composition is what I love, the tarnished gold and the ocean greens and blues behind it; makes the watch seem even more like an old treasure.
