Description
The ever-elusive clover fairy is most often mistaken for a firefly, but the fortunate few who have encountered one, can never forget the experience. "It was like catching a glimpse of a firefly out of the corner of my eye, but brighter and dazzelingly colorful. One moment of brilliant light and the next moment gone, but never to be forgotten."
This is a rare one for me. Fairies are not part of my normal artistic subject matter, but while I was working voluemetric lighting and my Clover set, this scene began to take form and it struck me that this was just perfect for a "Clover Fairy." I must add one small note for "theological" clarification: I thouroughly enjoy much of the lore and artwork of fairies, but I do hold them to be in the realm of fiction. For those who truly believe in fairies, you have my respect, for I would not dare to be so arrogant as to say with all certainty that they do not exist. After all, God is a big God. If He saw fit to create fairies and hide them from the mainstream of humanity, that's His to do :-).
The flitting little beauty in my scene is actually the fairy included with Vue in the "Animals-characters" object set. The only item in this scene not standard in vue is the clover which I made.
