Description

The woods in the mist, a silent, mystical, magical place. If there is a god, I think you're more likely to find him here, than in some overpriced chrome and glass "house of worship", or through some televised Elvis wannabe in a flashy suit with a bible in his mitts. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Stunning image. I, too, love the woods. If God were Elvis and looked down on his chrome and glass incarnations, I don't think he'd be saying "Thank you very much."

There are moments of insight that are achieved on a rare basis. This is one of those moments where I understand perfectly what our friendship is formed on. This is a superb image in itself and the thoughts behind it make it even more outstanding my friend. VOTE

I agree with Tedz on that Gaia-Moment. No Elvis for me please. If there has to be a god, than let it be one, that loves to live there in the woods. I hope, your agnostic friend from germany is welcome in that cathedral? :-)

Beautiful place. Reminds me of where my sis and I once played many years ago. My Dad was a scaler and he always said that the woods was surely what heaven would be like. He loved the woods.

Oh Jim! Very pretty shot, I love this one! I now know what we have in common! But I always thought that God woould live in a beautiful place! He may "live" everywhere but he wakes up on the beach every morning I think! ;) Excellent photo Jim! Hugs to you!
