My real name is Jeff Scott, and I live in a small suburb of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I work with and around computers for a living, and it continues to amaze people that I can work on a computer for 9 or 10 hours a day, and come home and stay glued to one for several hours at night.

I got involved with 3d graphics waaaay back in 1990 with 3dStudio. Despite a change in career paths that took me out of the computer vendor realm, I persisted and found ways to make my love for 3d graphics and architecture mesh in with my current job.
One quirky thing I did was took the office floor plans for a 20 story building, and built a Quake deathmatch arena, which several of us would play over the network. Nothing like fraggin' somebody when they're coming out of the coffee area!
Several years later, I discovered Bryce, and, well.... things haven't been the same since. I've been using Bryce for a little over 3 years now, and have moved on to Poser, Rhino, Cararra, ZBrush and several other apps as well.
I have a very one-sided brain, so I couldn't do an abstract if you put a gun to my head. Hence my addiction to landscapes.
I like to help folks out when I can, and stir the fires now and then too. I joined Renderosity a couple of years ago, and have been here since... hopefully for a long time to come.

That is a lot of characters. Did you render them all at once, or did you composite separate renders in Photoshop? I've got only 512 megs at the moment, and Poser starts falling apart when I render more than a few characters. Before I forget: interesting scene, large scope. I love the ships.

svdl, it was definitely a series of renders with compositing. Even with 1GB of Ram, Poser choked early on....
