didn't know mercury had an atsmosphere ;-)

I know it don't, but..I had to have light to make the terrain show up. Pretend it is only the sun setting. Mercury is the closest planet to our Sun su...them clouds are solar flares :)

Impresive work! Excellent done! You are really very good with Terragen!

Lovely!

Mercury has a 'twilight zone'...a region where the light ends; and the darkness begins. It is said that there may be potential for a thin atmosphere in this region...whatever. Patt, you have done an excellent job on the details of this picture.

A bleak and desoate landscape. The sun very close, bright, and powerful. Really cool terragen landscape, it helps stretch the imagination.

I read up on Mercury. It does have a slight atmosphere. I'd make the diameter of the sun quite a bit larger. I love the color of your atmosphere, and the terrain is very nice. The water is, ah, um, poetic license. ;) Thanks for the interesting link!

Hey you guys got this picture all wrong.. Mercury is very small and close to the sun, so all the "sky" is really the sun itself. The pool of "water" is really a pool of MERCURY. It is dust covered. I don't see anything out of prespective here. all with in the relm of science. :O)
