Description

Our town was founded as a logging center at the turn of the century. In honour of that, there is a spar tree in the center of town, with the carved figure of a high rigger climbing it. Each year, he is dressed in a Santa suit. Since they don't move him to dress him, I must assume the suit is held on by velcro and was bought from a retired stripper. I would like to wish all of you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season, and health and happiness in the new year. I have enjoyed looking at your work, and have appreciated the interest in mine, and the help and suggestions offered. The very best to you all.

Yes, that is a very nice tribute. I am amused over your assumption that it belonged to a stripper. Seeing as you were a fisherman, I can only assume you seen it in action while in some port...snicker, snicker. (No offense meant, just harmless teasing) :P

Ahh, yes, the famous Santa Stripper. She was known far and wide in all the ports...and some inland areas as well. Damn, did she ever get around! The clubs...the clubs!! (Get yer minds out of the gutter!) lol No wonder Santa only leaves home once a year! great shot dude!!
