Description

When I was in college (or "at university" for those on the Continent), some of my friends were in a band named Claude Pate (a name based on the German word for blockhead). In May 2003, they had a reunion concert at a place called People's Bar & Grill, 20 years to the month after the band first formed. They recorded the concert, which I turned into a 4 CD set for them. The 20 year thing made this cover an obvious choice.

This piece is the result of a lot of Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop Elements and Painter 5.5. There's some Poser in there also. The band's posters usually depicted them as geometrical stick figures, so some 3D versions are taking the place of the Fab Four's wax figures in the original.

And in case any one is wondering, this piece is both parody and non-commercial, so there's no copyright issue here;-)

I've actually seen what you've based this on and can readily say that at first glance, I could tell no difference. Good Job.
