Description

This is the natural color of the sand at White Sands National Monument (in New Mexico). It's all gypsum and was the cause of most of my worst sunburns as a child (back before sun screen ... you'd get burnt all over by the time you had run up and down the dunes a few times). I went back there recently just to see if it was as beautiful as I remembered. (Of course NOW they have warnings everywhere to (1) wear sun screen or long sleeves and (2) sun glasses). To late for me .... already had melanoma a few times, guys.

This epitimizes your graphic sensibilty. Not enough can be said about simplicity... but it pleases me deep in my bones for some reason. Super work!
