Description

This one is the result of a freind of mine,"always" asking me if I could do something with a waterfall in it. Well here it is, and if you look close, there she is ?:>) this is my first waterfall (that turned out ok) if anyone has any tips or knows of a waterfall tutorial, I'm all ears. Thanks! Girl is Cassandra from Daz her hair is Kozuburro's up-do elephant also daz

Looks wonderful to me too. Love the elephant concept. As for waterfalls, I've seen best results from a combination of volume textures with terrains or rocks as backdrops. Check out Mario's gallery for one using cloud textures, Amethyss has a couple using terrains. You can see one in my gallery which inludes a link to download the scene file (bryce 5). The texture doesn't port well to new scenes but you can see the layers I used. Good luck!

The waterfall looks okay, except for the division of streams. Maybe if you duplicated it to fill in the open spots? Water is the hardest to reproduce. I guess the only advice I can give you is 1)water is clear, but it gets it's color from the surroundings, especially the sky, with white to represent abundance of oxygen where it is most agitated, and 2)terrains make the best falls because they are "choppy". "Amethyss" makes good water, check out his work!
