Looks pretty good for a first time sea image - like the sky and water colour. A few little things to try (they're pretty minor) ... maybe try lighting the ship up just a little - it seems a bit dark (on this monitor) - you could do this with a low intensity spotlight or two. Also.. not sure what resolution terrain you used for the water, but I'd try a higher one - you'll get a lot more of the smaller water waves then and it won't look as smooth. Keep up the good work :)

Great sea and sky work, and it looks like you followed the instructions of the Victory model and did all the necessary 'deletes' to get the finished product you wanted. I agree with the above comment though, with such a great model, I woudl give it a little more emphasis and detail attention.

I agree with Flak add a little more noise in the DT Editor and a resolution at least 1024 the noise will pick up the wave detail try creating a second terrain of waves raise by 4 pixels and give puffy cloud tex move it around to get wave peaks sneaky but it works keep up the good work bm.

I love thew water and the sky, the colors are impressive, the ship is a bit too dark and blurry IMHO
