I like the black design, but that background.... The shocking white streaks are very distracting and confusing to the eye, too. Maybe if you blended them or made them a variation on one of the other colors you used on your background? You may also want to lighten the background colors overall to give it a bit more contrast with the black. Other than that, very nice. ;-)

I like the design, and personally I also quite dig the strong pink and velvet used as balance to the black :)
