Great image!!! Did you model everything yourself? How did you do such a wonderful sales. I need to do them for one of my ideas. Teach me. please. Great work!! As far as old painting... (I am happence to be more experience in traditional art then in Computer art, which I just begin to conqure.) So..., as far as immitating old painting- you need to check the palet of pain hues of the time frame you are trying to imitate your work by. As the colors of your design are very contemporary. Remember, they didn't have cythetic-lab made pigments. There for- no flurescent colors. There for- more natural "Earthy" tones will be more comon. Also, traditional chools of painting teaching that every color and tone reflect in one another, so- your sails will have to have some reflections of the sky and water tones, Ocean and sky as well will have presents of colors of each other. In the world of mordern art not too many artist pay attention to this rather important fact. I hope my better work illustrate this point. But in any rate your work is amazing and deserve the highest rating!!!! If you have any question about "traditional" art technics please feel free to ask. HUGS, Serge

The model is by 'hankster' and available thru the renderosity marketplace. I failed to mention this because several of us have been posting this model lately and I gave such glowing credits in my last post. It is indeed a great model.

I "cheated" the sea..got tired of using terrains to make waves, so instead faked it by playing in Photoshop to get a 3-d effect on a planar application of standard Bryce water. Whitecaps are terrains, sized and smoothed, then swirled in Photoshop. Thanks for comments and votes..this is exciting to have ended up in the Hot 20 list! Wow!
