Great work, as usual, Cassie, I love the way you did the details in the feathers. What is photoshop 7 ? Do you first draw the picture or is it actually drawn on the computer. I don't understand how that works, and I would love to. I love all of your work.

Cassie... where to start with this one? From the absolutely awesome shadows you've made, that totally makes this exit from screen? From the owl eyes, that are simply living? or from the feathers, so impossible to make this well, but that YOU made.. this well? Or will I praise the composition, the idea? So many things to honour here, but only one in the end to mention: your real status of real artist. Like Jim, (even if it wouldn't seem by this long comment) I am loss for words. Truely awesome.

"No, Mama, not plastic mice again!" This is SO well done and so powerful in its messagebig hugs This isn't the first time I've remarked on your skill with feathers, but I have to do it again because they're beautifully done here, so detailed and soft looking.

I agree with everyone. This is excellent. I'm asking the same thing as Gunsan...What is the larger owl holding in her beak?

Your work reminds me of drawings by artist Chris Van Allsberg, ( Books) Polar Express, The Garden Of Abdul Gazazzi, Jamanji, others. You ever thought of doing art for children's lit? Great work, kids would relaly be facinated by it. I am! ~Jerez....Aangus sent me here!
