It would have been more realistic if you had used a rock layer as the base and put the snow on top using slope limiting. That way the rocks would have shown through on the steep sides where snow is just not going to stick. Looks like a nice terrain under there though :-)

Hmmm. I agree with Rids except for one thing: this is an ice planet, and ice is a mineral, and it's beautiful the way it is. :)
