Some material tweeking in Max.. the back of the sword is a chrome material with a bump and opacity map added to it.. ;)

The sword sucks ass. ooooooooooo and kill bill sucks to but good hand. next time look at a katana.

sorry but ,this sword not good modeling.doesn't a samurai sword.have lots of mistake.not good texture on the steel.not good sharpen edge.
