Description

The hard part was the placement of the sealions on the rocks so as to look somewhat natural. My waves are getting better but I still had to use post.Didn't have and seagull models so I used some old paintshop tubes for the birds.I think the sealion texture was from Lyne. Critigue welcome. Thanks for viewing Mark

First of all, it's a fantastic image. Sea and waves are very difficult to achieve in Vue, and you've done a nice work! The only critic I would have is that the wave should be somewhat 'broken' by that big rock on the middle / left side... It looks like it went all the way throught it, but that big rock is a massive obstacle that should have affected it for sure! Keep up the good work!

First I would like to thank everyone for your comments and critique.Earth C is right about the wave but for some reason when I place a rock on the wave to break it up the textures distort and show through the rock and would need a lot of post. Got lazy. Have a Happy New Year Mark

This is an extraordinary effort. The posing of the seals is wonderfully done and the atmosophere selection is most excellent!

Absolutely excellent! If you are looking for improvement suggestions, I don't see much I could even nit-pick. Maybe a second wave a little bit further back and a break in the wave where it is hitting the rock. Everything in the foreground is bordering perfection. Keep it up.

Wow! Although I agree with the comments about the wave not breaking on the rock, everything else looks amazing. Outstanding image!

Debra Ross made the sealion (in her freebies) and I believe that Mitch made the texture for it, included. Beautiful image!! Such real waves!!

Fantastic work on the rocks, wonderful sharp light, perfect water in the foreground. The wave might be a bit more irregular, but you are almost there :) Altogether, a top notch work and my vote!
