The radio throbbed with songs of olde, christmas musak...the same song sung by different artists. Interrupted abruptly by loudmouthed advertisements, grating voices chaffing against the solemnity of winters celebration. Sunday sunday sunday.. I remain elusive. Unsold. I do not want for these Christmas Eve tidings, I do not burn for a new car or a strip bar. The comings and goings of the songs and adverts make waves in my pool of creativity. All the while I snap photos. Capturing trucks and minivans as they skirt by our side. We were on route to Ohio, emcompassed in the sweet darkness of the Eve itself - somewhere between Indianapolis and Richmond.... Of all the glowing Christmas decorations.
