Description

The baby was born in July, the seventh, and he is the seventh generation of those Pegasuses who had moved to Titania. So the baby was called Septem. I became to know him, when he was three hours old - and I photographed him. --- I took care of Septem as a help to his Mother Liza for the few first weeks. We wandered over the meadows under the burning summerly sun, and ran to the shelter of Mama Liza's sheltering wings when rain came on with its all power. It was the summer to remember! This picture I created in FreeHand for the 2D Forum's December theme. Thanks for viewing - all comments are so welcome!

I really like this with its simplicity and soft colors. I especially like the lines of the mother's head and she adores her baby. :)

Very cool scene. The emotion comes through in your artwork here. So, umm... how is Septem nowadays?

Septem is nowadays 3 (and a half) years old and is going to learn living the life of an adult Pegasus, bringing us the joy of the magical words in poems and all literature all over the world:-)

i like the simplicity of this work as well as the contrasting red/yellow to the greys. and the story is rather endearing as well.
