Description

Climb the Mountain, he would say. He'd take my 6 year old hands into his massive ones and Id walk my feet up his legs until reaching his hips. I flip backwards, still guided and protected by his strength. This simple, innocent game - Our game. A father bonding with his daughter. Near 20 years have passed and I'm yet impressed by my Father's strength. He still towers over my 5'6 form with his of 6'4. His beard is graying, but his eyes are still brilliant. Still wide and full of dreams. His is the strength of patience. Of wisdom. Of truth. I find myself, now 24 turning 25.. still climbing the mountain. The mountain of life, of experience. Thank you Daddy, even though you're far away and Im grown - I can still feel your hands guiding and protecting me. You're my inspiration.
