Description
I originally modeled the main Desert Eagle mesh back in Augustand posted it in my gallery. Now that the fall semester is over I have finally had time to finish the clip and bullets and add it to an interesting layout.
All meshed were modeled in Maya 5. They were then exported to Bryce and rendered in the full scene. I am currently only up to speed with modeling with Maya and am not fully comfortable texturing with the Hypergraph interface it has yet. I have only been using Maya for 6 months now.
To explain the I.D. text. I plan on including this picture in a protfolio I have to submit this spring in order to get accepted into the upper division for Industrial Design at Arizona State University. I figured this would help fit the theme.
I hope you enjoy.

great work..hadn't seen a .50 cal pistol (I keep thinking of the tripod-mounted version), but I suppose there's no reason there can't be one..great work here, though I would snuck your own logo on the 'maker's mark'..but that's me..;)

Great image over-all. The use of fractals for texture was a nice touch, it counterpoints the flat mirror like plating of the other elements quite dramaticaly. Very Inspired composition.

the best weapons render i've ever seen. one thing, though, you might want to check the trades and caliber stamps. not saying it's not a .50, i just don't remember it being stamped there
