Description

Work has been crazy lately, leaving little time to even look at Imagine. But I did have a free lunch and decided to model a pencil sitting on my desk. Nothing fancy, but here it is.

Thanks. I used CorelDraw to create a black and white image of the pencil body (easier to round the corners) and had Imagine convert the image to an object. It was then easy to extrude the object to make the body of the pencil. The tip was just a cone placed to overlap the end of the pencil and I sliced away. I created two profiles and spun them to create the eraser and metal piece. The only texture on the object is easywood. The eraser has roughness turned up slightly.
