Hi,"C" real nice scene, you know by just adding more shadow especially for the terrine, in other words adjusting effects in the sky lab editor might give you a different look and feel to this image. (just my two cents) Happy New Year!!

Hi Chorny, The terrain looks terrific, also the grass is great! I don't know what software you are using but I stumbled onto a great thing for distance foliage. Symmetrical lattices! If you use them far away they are jagged like treetops and such. Just a suggestion. I like using them better than a sphere, but to each his own. I agree with coolcatcom on the sky, if you just move the sun to a different position it changes the whole scene. I really like the look you have here I just think you need to add a little and tweak a little! Excellent! :)

Mmmmh! I don't know anything about scenic so I can't give u any advice, only my incompetent viewer's feeling: the texture on the "rocks" looks a bit weird in my opinion. I guess it might have something to do with contrasts indeed but again, I'm not an expert so... 0_o Other than that, the water is very well done and so is the grass at the front. Overall, it's a very nice image! Have a magic New Year my sweet friend, Pascale.

Nicely Done!

I think a nice Haze effect would do wonderful in this picture. It looks a lot like where I live but we have a good haze on the horizon around here. I like this one though.
