First all: Happy New Year to you Barb and your family. This is the first time I see the double shade effect in this one and I like it very much. Is it to go in a new direction? But it is very clever done. PS: In the meantime you also posted some other images here to Renderosity. Of course they are also great pieces of art. But I didn't had the time to comment them. Therefore this general and positive comment. Wish you all the best, Barb, in 2004 with a lot of creativity. A beautiful and intricate spiral with a most interesting background. The double shadows are cool as well as the apparent curvature on all of the spiral segments. Very nice work.
