Thanks for the kinds words everyone! Much appreciated. :) Scene took a few weeks to complete from conceptual stage to finish (including architecture not visible in this shot). Zandar - trees were done using particle systems with few instanced leaves in different colors. I wrote a few tidbits of info about the process and various passes used to create this piece, which you can see on my site at http://www.eldargraphics.com/tutorials/ Hope it is informative to some. :) Happy new year!

WOW! Amazing! The only thing that you might change is that the leaves look like they are all hovering in the air above the ground. But you can't really notice it anyway. Great pic.
