Yet another realism attempt. I'll post a minitut on how I created the lighting. Model made in rhino, the 'cloth'... I didn't get it right. It was a quickie because I wanted to try something with faked caustics. Thanks for taking a peek, any comments are greatfully accepted.

The metals are right on, Beautiful work. Although if I brought the stone home, my wife would send me packin...right back to the store.J/K. Not much clarity in it. The cloth looks fine except the bump on the left. Nice piece Ornlu!

I agree with the earlier comment about the stone. It seems a little dull - can you give it more 'sparkle' in the software you are using? The ring itself has been nicely modelled though.

Looks good, Robert, other than the previously mentioned comments about the stone and cloth. The lighting is fantastic.

YES! Very realistic! Stone does appear fakish. Agree with ICM about the cloth. Still looks wicked fantastic though!

Only the gem is off, although i know you meant it as the focus. But, for realism, gems only glow in Morrowind! (grins) Another picture peferct render, my friend. I thank you for your influence on my own "style", and wish you only the best...
