A wonderful capture full of motion. Personally I would have cropped it quite a bit tighter.

I had a friend who landed airplanes like that, at least one good bounce. Great timing, Randy. I've only seen pelicans once, in Mexico. We don't have them here, although they actually nest in the Yukon on a couple of rivers. I was amazed at how something that looks so ungainly could be a thing of such grace and beauty on the wing.
