Well, what I'm not sure of - are you painting these, or are you just using filters on digitized images? And besides, don't be fooled by this guy - I happen to know that he isn't what he pretends to be - he's just an half elf from middleearth by the name of Elrond who couldn't stand that the third age was at an end.

I 'strip' the images down to the basic outline, then I painstakingly rebuild them layers & masks, until I acheive the effect that I'm happy with!
