Description

Life is not always easy, but there are times where if we stop to smell the roses and enjoy the scent of fresh air, we can really appreciate the gift of life. In times of trouble, I hope that we can all reflect on the gift of life to give us strength. To Syyd ~ for all of her encouragement and friendship, I dedicate this image to you. I hope it brings you some joy. *hugs* My special thanks to Eric for all of his assistance. Credits: Sams3D for the exceptional free barn, and fencing. Bebop for his country gal p4 texture. Lannies 3dModelWorld [http://www.3dmodelworld.com/], for the rustic country props. The models themselves were created by Funky Bobs site owner : http://funkybob.virtualave.net/Poser_Propsx.html Daz for the Charger The tub texture by Varian : http://www.varian.net/dreamview/dreammodels/vde/index.html Clothes: My first attempt to paint real clothes..with the help of a tutorial found at Poser Arcana : http://www.awakemm.com/poserarcana/index.asp I am not very good at postwork...and I hope that this image doesn't let me down too badly. (postwork time 12.35hrs....cos I'm reaL SLOW :D ) Image created in Vue d'Esprit 3.1, poser, postwork in ps5.5 I hope u all enjoy it. Comments and constructive criticism are always welcome. ****reposted to try and correct her flattened rear...not sure if it's any better though****

Rosey, i think this is beautifull. Its alive and vibrant, brings to mind days of old at my uncles farm, sitting under the trees and just enjoying being alive.

Wow! Beck...this is a lot of work and stuff to see in there. Great composition and excellent use of related items and models. Looks like a 24mm camera view taken up close. The "fish eye" effect is quite obvious. About postwork...I have to say its an art and skill all by itself and practice makes perfect.

Lovely scene of a simpler time and a simpler life. Thanks for sharing this. Relieves some of the stress I feel on a daily basis and brings back memories of the life I used to know. (violin music starts here :-))

Rose, this scene is great! I grew up with my best friend's parents owning a farm, so I know how she is feeling in that picture. Life is a great gift and never more obvious then when you can sit under a tree, smell the clean air and watch it (life) going on around you. I swear I can smell the horse manure (spelling??) and hay. As for the clothing, you say those are painted in? Very nice indeed. If I did that I would have a bunch of smeared paint all over the place. Great work!!!

Beautiful sis. Very serene and peaceful. Like a dream that makes you smile in your sleep. I can smell the hay myself. grin She looks totally at peace with her world. And a beautiful one it is. Thank you for such a warm, and peaceful image. We need these sometimes, to remind us that life isn't all darkness and gray. =)

Thank you Shatter, Riko, sis. Michael thank you as well, I know life on a farm isn't all peace and harmony, but I also know that there are times when you can look out, see the land, and get an overwhelming feeling of peace and satisfaction. This is what I wanted to represent. hugs
