I am a new artist - learing the ropes in the various 3d programs. I am hoping to enhance my skills through the association with the fantastic artists in Renderosity. I am a better 3d modeler than using the various render programs - but I am getting there.

I think it looks mighty fine. Was just thinkin' about you and wondering how your weapons production was coming along and I see everything is runnin' like clockwork. Take care and Happy New Year!

Very nice detailing. In the spirit of Bladerunner, you've combined some classic elements with a taste of high tech. Very appealing, hope you create more along this line ?:>)

Nice gun...how about putting it in the freestuff eh?

Cool work! I like it even more than the original Bladerunner gun, because the original Bladerunner weapon is not a really convincing design. Yours looks much better to me. I am not a fan of the drill-like application on the side, but all in all it looks really cool.

Thanks for the comments VOID!! The "drill like application on the side" is an auto sensor and is part of the whole "sensor array package." I designed it with a "Smartweapon" targeting feature. It uses the full spectrum for target identification. As the weapon is unholstered - the Drill-like application extends and sends out a pulse signal that bounces off the target area and identifies "soft targets" such as a humanoid body. The first trigger activates and locks the gunsight on a target. The second trigger fires the weapon. The weapon will not discharge until the muzzle is pointed at the target at an optimal angle for hitting the target. One shot - One Kill - the perfect "Police Weapon." Off course, in a pinch - forget the smart targeting system - point the gun and SHOOT - bang! What do you think of the "Drill like" application now? Like it any better?:) Thanks for the kind comments Void!!!
