I see this as being thematically linked to my post from last night "Inertia" but it's much more desolate and further down the line towards entrenched despair. The lack of features on her face (reminding me of the children's masks in the film version of Pink Floyd's The Wall) is very apt, reflecting just how little she knows herself. As you say, she's lost. I think, Gun, that this has to be your most powerful image in a long time! Compliments :-)

Gun this is a stunnoing piece of work. Even with no face this woman is so exrpressive - her body tells us so much about how lost she feels. The simplecity of the compositions and the almost monochrome colours add to the poweer of this image. We are not distracted by extra lines or colours but drawn in to the figure and her sorrow

Excellently done. Good framing and blurring of her features makes her dilemma quite clear.

Gun, I am so sorry! I cannot guess how on earth I could have missed this wonderful work! It must have been due to the holidays. You have captured a part of my soul in this. I am at a loss for words, beautiful and haunting!
