Description

The cigarette ash continued to grow on Aaron Risonofski's stick as he watched Ash stroll up the alleyway towards him. Aaron wasn't from Eastern Europe, though he maintained a fake accent along with his name, he was English through and through. Aaron always figured if you were going to be involved in this sort of business, there was nothing wrong in planting a few seeds of misinformation about yourself. Ash came to a halt nex to him, Aaron's eyes inadvertantly darted to the Transient graftings all over her face and body, he did everytime he saw her. Ash noticed the glance and smiled, it was designed to get her noticed. Transient's had grown out of the piercing movement, when cybernetic and Cosgenetic surgery came down in price and hit the street clinics a new fashion had started up, mutilating your own flash to look mechanical, alien, animal or monster was commonplace. Most people did minor amendments, an eye, the ears, something you could pass off as a curiosity. Ash had gone into it big time, the procedure had taken weeks, daily grafting and surgery had cost her thousands. But to Ash it was not only self-expression, but good for business. As a provider of goods, it was important for her to be recognised, with her augmentations, she was very difficult to miss. "Hey gaijin, what's news?" she asked, giving him a quick, sly smile. Aaron drew back on his cigarette, knocking off the excess ash and smiled back. "Good, usual business, nothing out of the ordinary. Keep it easy and low, you know what I mean." "Sill waiting for the big score eh Aaron?" "Always. Got some time?" "For you, always, if you're paying." she leant up against the wall next to him. "What do you need?" "Got a shopping list for a customer, he's brewing something special for himself. I got most of it, but I need four hudnred miligrams of Diphermoroxi." Ash straightened up. "Holy shit Aaron..." "And it's got to be hospital grade, if he wanted synthetic he could go to any streetdealer." Aaron drew back on his cigarette again. "Can you handle it?" Ash grinned. "If you had any doubts, would you have asked?" Aaron released his cigarette and watched it as it tumbled down, rolling over and over until it hit the tarmac below. He glanced to Ash and then turned away, walking away down the alleyway.
