Description
Another in the series of our possible futures.
A different view on another of my pics, Derelict City.
Many years after we ruined this planet, some of us took to the stars in the hope of a better future.
One group decided to withdraw from the remnants of our past and decided, before it was too late, to build a huge city that would feed and shelter a select few in the hope that one day, the planet would have healed itsself and they could reclaim their former destiny's.
This pic shows the ruined city, crumbling and decaying in the harsh environment we left behind.
It includes one of the last ships, sabotaged by the many that would be left behind to starve,laying shattered on the plane beneath the city.
It also shows one of possible futures, a beautifull glass city.

Good to see you again Fozzy. :) Very nice presentation. I agree, give me the glass city. One Crit: I would make the dome/city a little larger around the base. More of a squished dome then a rounded one. Give it the scale of something very, very large and distant. :)
