My 3rd Bryce. I started out fooling around with Clay's Fire Volumetrics. Then I got carried away. I hope it's worth uploading.

Wow! The "sun" looks really wicked! I like it a lot! The textue on your solar station looks good, but it looks a bit stretched in my opinion. Either add a bump map to it, or extrude some of the faces (if you can do that in Bryce, I dunno) so that it doesn't look so much like a normal torus. Maybe you could add some "spokes" and a shaft heading down from the center of the station. This image has a lot of potential, and so far I really like it!

The sun is awesome!! How'd you do that? I can't seem to figure out how to make the sun look like that

I agree, the sun/fire effect is fantastic...and the texture for the ship needs some tweaking...the shape of it is a bit like a donut...maybe thats a standard thing, I wouldn't know cuz I don't do space images much... still, a neat image.
